Dear Resident
I’ve lived in Solihull for 17 years and have previously served as a Councillor in the neighbouring Olton Ward.
I’ve been a staunch advocate for environmental conservation, particularly in protecting our precious trees, by leading a campaign against tree felling by developers prior to housing development.
In addition, I am committed to supporting residents in opposing inappropriate planning applications that do nothing to enhance or improve our area. I will be a strong voice for residents in the council chamber and I’ll work hard to ensure that we maintain a vibrant town centre with the planned re-development.
Tackling crime and anti-social behaviour is a top priority. Residents are rightly concerned about the rise in car thefts, burglary and anti-social behaviour in our town. I will work with my colleagues, Cllr Samantha Gethen and Cllr Sardul Marwa to build on the work they have already carried out to lobby for stronger, more visible policing and to ensure we retain a police station in our town centre.
Furthermore, I wholeheartedly supported the campaign for the return of the Minor Injuries Unit at Solihull Hospital, recognising the vital role it plays in providing accessible healthcare for our residents.
Thank you for electing me on 2nd May. I remain dedicated to working tirelessly on your behalf to ensure our area is a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant place for all.
