Dear Resident
Kingshurst & Fordbridge is a wonderfully diverse ward, meaning that every area has its own unique characteristics and needs. I live here in the ward with you, so if it affects you, it affects me.
As Chair of Kingshurst Parish Council, and working closely with Fordbridge Town Council, I have a strong insight into the needs of our communities. It was my privilege to serve you as Borough Councillor, and I would like to do so once more. I have been a champion of regeneration in the ward, supporting the new village centre, the delivery of new schools, roads, homes and park improvements.
Local residents have spoken to me about their desire for better access to services such as GP appointments, public transport, police, health and education. We need a strong voice at Solihull Council to serve as a champion for everyone who lives here. That way, we can strive for a fairer society where everyone feels supported and valued, with access to the high quality services they deserve. I would be that voice for you. I would work hard every day to ensure you get all the support you need.
I believe that only a local councillor, such as myself, really understands the needs of people living in the ward. I have spoken to huge numbers of local residents who are increasingly telling me that other councillors are not meeting their needs. They voted for something different in the previous two elections, but did not get what they were promised. You, the people of Kingshurst and Fordbridge deserve better, and I know that I am the person to deliver for you.
As a local resident and community champion, I am committed to raising standards for everyone. I pledge to make our area a great place to live, work and raise a family, as well as delivering the regeneration you deserve.
