Dear Resident
As a local resident, the issues that affect you affect me too, and I'm passionate about making a positive difference for our community.
My top priorities to make the whole of the Bickenhill Ward an even better place to live are; ensuring residents get value for money from your Council Tax, while keeping bills low. Protecting and supporting our natural environment - investing in our parks and tackling climate change. Protecting areas from unwanted development, working to get a better service from the police and making sure our children get the best education they can to help them secure the jobs we are helping to deliver.
Whether it's helping with individual cases or working on the wider issues, I am always here to help. I work for all communities across the ward.
In Marston Green, I worked to get the post box returned, led the fight to stop 400 car parking spaces being built on green belt land and I'm now working to get better train services. In Catherine de Barnes, I'm working with the community to get their views on what position to take if an application for a battery storage facility on green belt land arrives. In Hampton in Arden, I'm working with Saqib Bhatti MP and the parish council to protect against the prospect of increased traffic, particularly in Diddington Lane. At Eastcote cross roads, I'm working to improve road safety and in Barston & Bickenhill, I am working to improve the environment.
