Dear Resident
I have lived in Solihull for almost ten years, so as a local resident, your concerns are my concerns and I pledge to serve our community to the best of my ability. I am a former school governor and magistrate. I was awarded an MBE in 1990 for working with young unemployed people; teaching them basic skills to enable them to work for the first time.
I give my commitment to working full time as your councillor, so I can put something back into our local community and help deliver positive results on our behalf. I am not afraid to tackle difficult issues, whether that be campaigning to bring back the Minor Injuries Unit to Solihull Hospital, fighting against inappropriate planning applications that do nothing to improve or enhance our street scene or working to tackle problems with speeding traffic on our local roads to help improve road safety, particularly near our schools.
