Dear Resident
Being a councillor is a great privilege and it has been an honour to serve you. I've worked hard, alongside Cllr Peter Hogarth MBE and Cllr Michael Gough on issues ranging from; street cleaning, safer streets, tackling speeding, litter and graffiti, to fighting to bring back the Minior Injuries Unit to Solihull Hospital and being part of the campaign to save Solihull Police station.
I will continue to be your strong local voice on issues affecting our area. I believe the role of a councillor is to represent the views of residents all year round, listening to their concerns and respecting their opinions. It is vitally important that we always have a strong local voice looking after residents’ interests and making our case for the benefit of our community. And if re-elected, I will continue to stand up for the interests of Silhill residents.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many residents who have already brought issues to my attention and given me the opportunity to represent you. We are going through difficult and challenging times. Therefore, it is even more vital that you have a strong local voice, who knows what is happening in your local area and what issues your local area is facing.
I am proud to be a resident of Solihull and take great pride in our wonderful borough. In addition to my professional career as a civil servant, I volunteer my time as a school governor.
