Dear Resident
I have worked in Castle Bromwich for over 5 years, the past 4 years serving as your Councillor. I have had the privilege of meeting many of you at my regular library councillor surgeries, or on your doorsteps, to address your concerns.
I am proud to represent the Castle Bromwich Ward. We have some wonderful open green spaces, good schools, and health services. However, I am aware of the challenges our area faces, particularly vehicle crime, off road vehicles damaging our parks and verges.
A lot has happened in our area over the last 3 years, a new pedestrian crossing at Arden Hall, the regular councillor surgeries have assisted residents with many issues, from drain covers to path clearing and hedge trimming, or new grass verge trees. I have worked hard in Lanchester Park and as a result, it looks better than it has done for years.
Further measures to address speeding traffic on Water Orton Road are now at an advanced stage with on-site works expected to start during the year.
We need a village centre that supports the needs of residents and a police service that focuses locally on reducing crime and poor driver behaviour. I am sure that you have seen the damage caused to our roadside verges that spoils the appearance of our area.
There is a great deal more to do.
Thank you for yourn support in the Election on 2nd May. Together we have the best chance to maintain our ward as a great place to live and work.
