Your Conservative Councillors, Mark Parker & Karen Grinsell would like to make residents aware that Barratt Homes have put in a Planning Application to build 33 new homes on land at the rear of Wolston Close.
The plans are for a mixture of houses and garages, ranging from 3 bedroomed townhouses to single storey garages. 30% of the site will be reserved for affordable housing.
Both Mark and Karen will be opposing this development as they are concerned that this development is open space grabbing and, if approved, will result in the loss of further green space in Shirley East. It is also a very intensive development and may put pressure on the local infrastructure.
Cllr Karen Grinsell says “Now is the time to have your say. If you wish to object to this
Planning Application you must submit your views to the Council no later than 11th July”.
Detailed plans can be seen on line at the Solihull Council website — www.solihull.gov.uk/planning/dc/ViewApp.asp or viewed on line at Shirley Connect or at Solihull Connect.
If you wish to write expressing your views you should write to : Gary Palmer, Head of Planning, Solihull MBC, PO Box 11652, Council House, Solihull, B91 9YA or email: [email protected]
Please quote application number 2012/916.
