Residents may recall Solihull Council rejected the planning application to widen the public footpath that runs from Ralph Road to the Stratford Road to enable vehicle access to new properties to be built at the rear of the Stratford Road shops.
The developer subsequently appealed the decision made by the Conservative led Council and we are delighted to inform you that the Inspector has dismissed the appeal.
Local Campaigner, Karen Grinsell says; “Mark and I are pleased that the Inspector has upheld the decision made by the Council, this is a victory for the local residents and all those who campaigned against this application.”
