Shirley East Councillors, Mark Parker & Karen Grinsell are pleased to let you know that Solihull Council’s planning committee has rejected re-submitted plans to build two houses at the site of 334 Blossomfield Road.
Cllr Karen Grinsell attended the planning meeting where the committee threw out the application stating; the driveway being too narrow, concerns about the area for cars turning, the second house being set back from the road and not in keeping with the present street scene.
Cllr Mark Parker said “This is great news for local residents who were opposed to this application and for both Karen and I, as we pledged to local residents in our election campaigns that we are very determined and committed to fighting off attempts for garden grabbing and building on our green spaces.”
